New York.- Marcus Stroman’s highly anticipated Mets debut, wasn’t what many expected, yet it gave us a little preview of what The StroShow can bright to the organization.

After spending his whole career with the Blue Jays organization, the RHP was traded to the Mets in a move that was surprising to many since early in the trade talks there were many speculations that had the rightly going to the Yankees.
No in The Bronx, but still New York, Stroman made his first start ad a Met at PNC Park against the Pirates.
Stroman who has always been an American League pitcher, had to face a Pirates Lineup that’s trying to have a better second half of the season.
Stroman faced 22 batters and threw 92 pitches in 4.1 innings of work in which he gave up 7 hits and allowed 3 earned runs, and struck out 3 batters.
Even though Stroman came out of the game with the Mets trailing 2-1, he came out with no decision since the Mets were able to comeback and win the game 7-5.
Stroman is set to make his first start at home this upcoming Friday against the Washington Nationals, a tea that the Mets are hoping to beat in an attempt to get back on the race for the division title.
Stroman who is known for bringing his electric personality to the field and putting up a show (Hence the nickname) every time he takes the mound, would be looking to feed off the energy of his new fan base to put up a show in the place where he was born.
